Welcome to the new blog of First Baptist Church Fairdale. You may have noticed that our website has been undergoing some pretty serious changes over the last few weeks. This weblog is just one more part of those changes. A weblog, or blog for short, is a type of journal that can be used to post various types of information. As you may know, Pastor Josh has operated his own weblog, The Powell Plantation, since this past summer as have some other members of FBCF. On many of these blogs, church members could find various types of useful resources, but they had to visit several blogs in order to see them all. This new blog is intended to be one consolidated effort to supply church members with thoughtful commentary on issues that pertain to Baptists. Because of this blog, The Powell Plantation no longer exists. You will now be able to find Pastor Josh’s insights, along with those of a few others, on this blog. We hope you find all the material presented here edifying.
